About Precision
We're not just an earthworks contractor.
Precision Earthworks is a planning-led construction partner that understands the whole build - not just the part that happens in the dirt.
We're based at 618 Swanson Road, Swanson, and have spent more than 20 years on Auckland ground: subdivisions, retaining, slip repair, foundations and civil works. Our director is a licensed building practitioner, which is why we set work out for what comes after it rather than treating earthworks as an isolated stage.

Our promise
We plan properly, communicate clearly, and execute confidently.
Plan properly
The cheapest problem to solve is the one you find on paper. We do the thinking before the machinery arrives.
Communicate clearly
You should never have to chase us for an update, or wonder what a variation means. If something changes, you'll hear it from us first.
Execute confidently
Twenty years of ground, machinery and consent conditions means we back our approach - and stand behind the result.
The team
The people you'll actually deal with.

Roy Wykes
Director
Roy leads Precision on the ground. A licensed building practitioner with more than 20 years in construction, he brings a builder’s read of a site to earthworks - which is why our work is set out for what comes after it, not just for the dig itself.

Scott McSkimming
Head Quantity Surveyor
Scott runs pricing and quantities, working from measured take-offs. He is the reason our proposals set out scope, programme and cost clearly enough that clients are not surprised later.
Accreditation
Credentials that hold up.
